Psittacus Omega Feed

Particularly recommended in stages when parrots need a higher nutritional intake (young parrots, parrots with nutritional deficiencies...). It has also been formulated with special attention to its fatty acid profile and Omega6 and Omega3 content.

Formula that can be fed exclusively or as a supplement to a wide range of medium to large psittacine species.

Can be used ad libitum with macaws, grey parrots and piocephalus. It is recommended for restricted use with species that tend to put on weight, such as Amazon parrots, cockatoos, eclectus...

Specially recommended as a starter feed for young parrots. Psittacus is formulated to constitute 100% of the parrot's food. Other foods may be added to the diet (often to provide variety), but Psittacus feed should not fall below 70-80% of the total diet.

It is not advisable to add any vitamin-mineral supplements to parrots that are primarily fed Psittacus. It is advisable to renew feed and water daily.

INDICATIONS:- Suitable for: Young birds or animals with nutritional deficiencies. Daily consumption: Between 5 and 8% of the animal's weight. Medium-sized species (e.g. grey parrot) consume around 20-40g.

Recommendations: Feed fresh feed, fruit and vegetables. Renew the contents of feeders daily and provide fresh water.
